It is Patricia's belief that there is much more to a skin rash or dehydrated skin than meets the eye. Her decision to study Botanical medicine and research Nutritional diseases manifested itself as Aromatherapy Care. As a pioneer she promoted Aromatherapy across the North American continent for more than twenty-five years, hoping to raise the consciousness of therapists to look beyond the external evidence of skin and body aberrations. She developed a unique way of client self-assessment to come closer to the underlying cause of any complaint.

In 1997 her dedication to the quality of Aromatherapy was recognised by Mohawk College Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University, Hamilton. She was asked to write a syllabus for teaching her Method in the School of Nursing. In 1998 Patricia’s course was offered and for the first time in Ontario. Aromatherapy was presented as the main facet of Complementary Care.
